In the Wayuu language (Wayuunaiki), "waraira" translates to "mountain." Mountains hold a symbolic and practical significance in Wayuu culture, often representing strength, stability, and connection to the spiritual world. They are also tied to the natural landscape of the Wayuu homeland in the Guajira Peninsula.
Red, black, blue and brown jute sling bag also known as Clutch are made by hand by indigenous women of the Wayuu ethnic group with the upholstery technique.
